The FS 4800 D is a professional and very versatile flat saw for
large and mid-sized jobs. It is available in front pivot and rear
pivot configurations. A rear pivot saw is recommended when
maneuverability is key in road repair and service work. The front
pivot version is preferable for normal road sawing operations.
- Yanmar 48 hp 4-cylinder liquid cooled, diesel engine
meets current EPA requirements
- Patented power transmission system has a right angle
gearbox configuration with 12 V-belts. This transmits
more power to the bladeshaft than similar models in its
class, delivering 42 HP at the bladeshaft.
- The patented IntelliSeal bladeshaft system allows for a
minimum 500 hour service interval, eliminating daily
greasing of bearings. Quick disconnect blade flange is
standard
- Slip-on blade guard comes with auto-latch for easy
removal and installation
- Balanced dual motor hydrostatic drive system
eliminates surging and lag while cutting - with no belt,
chains or gears; requires no adjustment or maintenance
- Front pivot model has a patent-pending electric tracking
system option, which allows the operator to make
tracking adjustments with a switch while cutting
- Rear pivot model offers an electrically controlled
hydraulic differential system that locks rear wheels for
positive traction to prevent slipping
